I'd love to know who here is starting this journey along with me.
I'm starting an 18 month (after pre-reqs) LPN program on Jan 9.
I will then begin the RN bridge program & God willing, I'll be finished with that in two semesters.
I'm very excited and scared to death! I want to go out shopping for my books and supplies, uniforms, shoes, ect.....but can't until we get our lists on the first day of classes.
Well I have lurked here for awhile and decided to "talk" since I officially start BSN program tomorrow, Jan. 5! I simply cannot believe it is here....finally. I have orietation all day from 7:30am-3pm. Then on Monday I start classes. I will have 16 hrs which includeds: Pharmacology, health assessment, pathophysiology, basic nursing concepts. I'll post again tomorrow.

I start the RN program on 18th finally:lol2: After a long journey of pre-reqs. and a waiting list. I'm so nervous but excited to start :yelclap: Good luck to all.
I'm starting an 18 month LVN (in CA, it's LPN most other places) on Jan 30 after 2 years of prereqs. I plan on a bridge to RN immediately after completing the LVN. Nervous, excited and relieved. Good luck and wishes for continued sanity to all!
I am beginning my nursing clinicals this semester! I am both excited and nervous at the same time. I couldn't sleep last night because I was so worried. I have two children and like everyone else with children, I don't know how I am going to do this! I think prayer will be used a lot during these semesters!! :)
I start January 18. In some ways, I can't believe it's here already, in other ways, it seems like it's taken me years to get to this point. I'm doing the RN program, hope to be done in two years........
