I'm also starting an 18 month LPN program on January 30th. I then hope to begin a RN bridge program (2 semester program). If all goes well, I expect to be a RN by late '08, or early '09.
We got our shopping list at orientation, so I am ready to go! Every time I look at my uniforms, shoes, etc.... I get so excited. LOL
Good luck to everyone starting in 2006! :)

I'm starting BSN on January 17th. I have to take calculus exam on the 9th for my final credit for entrance into the program. Then the 10th is Intro to Nursing from 9-5. I think Wednesday is Academic success for nurses and Thurs. is orientation to nursing periodicals. We start classes on the 17th. I have 16 credit hours and my schedule has clinicals on Fridays 7 am to 1250.
I have already bought everything---stethoscope,bp cuff, penlight, bandage scissors, uniform, books, except for 4, my shoes, which should arrive tomorrow, and a calculator that I couldn't find at the store, so I had to order it online.
I'm so excited, and when I'm not studying for calculus, I'm looking over my anatomy made incredibly easy book and reading up on othe nursing topics. I'm sure when I get my nursing books in the mail, I won't be able to put them down. What can I say, I love learning!

I am starting Jan. 9th also. I am in a BSN program. I am so excited and nervous. Our first semester is 17 credit hours; so I know that I will be in for a lot of hard work. I can't wait to start. This is what I have spent the last two years working for so I can't believe that the time has actually come. I am going to enjoy the next three weeks of freedom!!!!!!!
