    I called them Chucks when I worked LTC because that's the company who made them.

    I call them Covidian pads now in the hospital setting, because that's the manufacturer who makes them.

    Nobody knew what I was talking about when I called them chucks haha

    I remember rubber draw sheets, although I think the "rubber" was some sort of plastic. The side sheets would tear away cause they doubled as lift sheets. Saved a lot of bed changes and only had to wipe and toss on another cover sheet. You just couldn't chuck them into the garbage. In the good ole days we used chuck less things. Sometimes if the over sheet became too saturated, urine would pool on top of the rubber. Today we want absorbency.

    In hospice we used Tranquility...those babies can hold up to a quart, although I always thought the brand name sounded like a euthanasia parlor.
