So I got home today and found stuff in my pockets that I didn't walk in with. Which made me think.. what have you found in your pockets when you got home?

Me-

a pulse ox thing, the refridgerator lock, tape, scissors, and omg once the narcotic key.( I ran right back for that one lol)

A roll of surgical tape, which ended up in the washing machine, which cost me a hundred bucks.

Two vicodins, which I found two days after the fact, while I was doing laundry. Oops. Thankfully, they were still wrapped.

I usually go home with half a dozen pens.Every once in a while i do a "pen round up" at home and take bunch back to work. I have learned to check for pens before I wash uniforms.

Washed my white uniform top and found a coloxyl & senna (brown tablet to help patients with bowel movements) in my pocket that patient would not take. It turned my white top brown, so had to spray it all again and re-wash. Luckily the stain came out!

I just cleaned out my pockets and I found the sharps key, the cardboard you pop out of the kleenex box, 2 dry erase markers and the clerk's pen (cause I lost the 3 I brought to work).

I used to go home with stuff in my pockets all the time and end up leaving it at home... One day I decided to empty all my pockets before I left work and put all my stuff (pens, sharpies, carpuject, tape, etc) into a graduate... now nothing goes home and I find narc's that might be in my pockets before I get home...
