Humorous Stressed Out Dream While In Nursing School

I own two dream books. I pick them up occasionally, especially if I have a recurrent dream. Dreaming that you are naked, according to my books, mean that you feel vulnerable, that you feel that some poor judgments might be exposed. How appropriate of an interpretation.

My dream last night that I was going down a street, riding inside a garbage can with wheels. I was using a stick to push myself around. Hmmmm...wonder what that means?

I graduated from nursing school 20 years ago but I frequently still have nightmares about nursing school!!!!!!

BWAAAHAAHAAA LOL. Yea....my old red car I drive, a 1988 Caprice - red. I call it Myrtle! My hubby drives the Green Saturn, 2001....I call it Peabody. I like to name my cars.

When I was learning to do blood pressures my husband said I was pumping a fist in my sleep like i was doing that. More than once he said I did that LOL.

I have ahd dreams that i was naked at work. In one my co-workers were giving me dirty looks so I removed a sheet from a patients bed and wrapped it around me. It kept slipping off. Very uncomfortable dream.

Since I started working full time as an RN I have had countless dreams re: work. I often even wake up from one of these nursing dreams in the middle of the night (or day, since I work 7p - 7a) thinking "OMG, I have to call the MD about that" or some other such silliness. Last week was the weirdest dream though....

I dreamed that renovations were being made on the ICU I work on, and that they included the building of a bar and pool tables and stuff right next to the nurses station. Then I dreamed that I came into work to find this weird scenario, and was told by the charge nurse that I would have to take a patient assignment & tend bar, because I was the only one on the unit with bartending experience. I dreamed that I was crying, and telling her, "Well if I'm going to have to do all this, then I need a raise. You know these people aren't going to tip." Weird huh. . .

When getting ready to take Boards, at that time in Balto. City at the Convention Center, 2 days of exams, I had severe anxiety dreams. One night I dreamed that I went to take the boards, got there and the Convention Center had been replaced by rowhouses. I remember being quite put out since no one had told me where it was being moved to and knew I'd never find it before time to start the exam.
