Just wondering how many of you are getting hit with this east coast storm? How many inches have you gotten so far???

About 2 feet here in DC area. What a mess!! I'm just ready to go outside to start digging out. It's incredible.

We have 24-26 inches already with an expected 6 or so more. My son's Mini Van is over the headlights. My Cocker Spainel walked out on the poarch, looked off the edge, and peed on the porch. I swear he was telling me if I thought he was going off the porch into all that snow I must me out of my mind.

I live in Norhteast Ohio and we are getting hit here too! I am so )(&*#%(* SICK OF )_@#(&% SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the snow is pretty much done and now its just sleeting for good measure. Everything is covered with about an inch of ice. Thankfully I don't have to go anywhere til Wednesday because it will take at least that long to dig out.

I think its cool... I love snow, and its rare that we get so much.

Over 24 inches and more is coming. To boot our city is running out of salt so they are putting half salt and half sand down on the main roads I hear. Our street is now plowed out yet.

ya'll be careful and stay home if you can. you will be in the clear by oh, April or so? I feel for ya.

Here in PA, I have about 2 feet of snow covering everything in sight!

How many days until spring???? I might be dug out by then!

I'm in Maryland, west of D.C. and Baltimore. We have well over 2 feet. Thankfully, as of now, I think we're about done with it. But still haven't seen a snowplow.

I haven't measured but it is between 20-24 inches at least. It is up to my Sheltie's shoulders. My hubby had to clear a path for her to go wee wee in the yard w the snow blower. Hubby and son went out to clear at 9:30, I made a nice bkft for everyone at 11:30, made them break and come in to eat, now they are busy again.

We live on a dead end, so we aren't going anywhere til we see a plow, and we are usually last to see one.

I remember one year we had a blizzard like this, and the man accross the street had a kidney stone. EMS and fire dept parked on the end of the street, and six men carried the strecher thru knee deep snow to get the man, then trucked it back up the st w him on the stretcher. Ever since then they usually give us at least one pass. One car width's worth!

By the time the boys finsihed the first round, another two inches was on the back sidewalk!

At one point it looked like it was coming down in snowballs.

My dog LOVES the snow!! Never had a dog that loved the snow so much. She came in and was limping, and I discovered her toes were stuck in weird positions due to big snow clumps btw her toes! I wouldn't let her out again for several hours, and she watched my hubby and son at the window and paced thru the house whining and crying wanting to go back out. Finally let her back out and she is catching snow from the snow blower in her mouth!!

NYC clobbered with 17 inches.. eeekkk

We are getting clobbered in New England as I write. 2 to 3 inches an hour and it's supposed to go until morning with blizzard conditions tonight.

I am sure the power will go out just as Joe Millionaire makes his choice!!!!
