Or that I have patients on different floors of the hospital, and keep having to run up and down stairs to take care of them!
I'm always so glad when I wake up and realize I was only dreaming!!

I think I have dreams about them is because a certain vent will reset to nothing if it has lost power 3 times, think thunderstorms. When that happens we have to bag until RT can get there and recalibrate the vent and put the settings back in. This actully happened when we had 5 vents and 3 nurses. I was never so terrified in my life. I just knew someone was going to die because no one was bagging them. We had a smart monitor tech that simply called ER and said We have 5 vents and 3 nurses and all the vents had just turned off and the calvary showed up in seconds.
Even though I don't work any more I still have nightmares about vents.

One dream was actually kind of cute though, all my little old folks turned into babies, cute sweet smelling in pink and blue gowns, all tucked into little rocking cradles, precious as could be, when the DON walks in and screams "Where are all our residents?!!Where did these babies come from?!!!":zzzzz

My most frequent dream is that I'm a patient in a hospital, and I'm try to insert a foley in myself. Then I usually wake up because I have to pee
