Christmas Gift Ideas?

Nurses General Nursing

I know it's last minute, but I'd like to get some small gifts (as in under $20) for the CNAs I work with. Does anyone have any suggestions about what gifts you've given that the recipient seemed to especially like? CNAs/HHAs, anything in particular you've received or would like to receive from your nurses?

Thanks!

One year, the nurses at my job each picked a tech and/ or a receptionist and bought then a $20 gift card to somewhere we knew they liked. That worked well; they got to pick something they specifically liked and it allowed each nurse to give something without breaking the bank for anyone.

Gift cards would seem the way to go ...at someplace that has something for everyone, like Target.

Thanks for your replies, folks. Last year I did lanyards, but gift cards are always nice.

Gift cards to different restaurants, or local stores, or stores such as Wal-Mart or Target, or even gas cards. Those are good ideas.

This is a fun topic!

I remember getting random stuff from my peers were always appreciated.

Cards

Mini alcohol bottles/special flavored name juices

artsy stuff (knitted or crocheted)

baked goods

food in general

I think getting anything is a very kind gesture to begin with.

I have given Bath and Body Works lotion ... they all loved that. This year I bought my 'regulars' the Frost Guard for their cars in an effort to save them time and gas. Pretty soft throws for the others ... got a great deal at JCPenney on these! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I gave out small pen lights to all whom worked the 3rd shift with me a few years ago. Was such a hit that I had folks from other shifts asking me for one, even those I didn't know or had ever worked with.
