Hello Everyone,
I know it is extremely early in the year but, the May deadline will be here before we know it. I wanted to see if there is anyone out there applying for GCU specifically in Tucson but, also in phoenix. I want to hear your experiences with the application process and the new Hesi A2 exam. I am planing on taking my Hesi A2 at the end of March.
look forward to hearing from yall

Hello Everyone,Im new to this site. . . congratulations to everyone!!! I need some help with the HESI study material!!! I don't know what to study or how to prepare for the exam:nailbiting: I would like to apply for next semester (GCU SHC campus). Im driving myself crazy with all the different information I'm getting from people!! Can someone please help!!
allnurses has a section for HESI posts:
Or scroll to the bottom of the page, click Site Map and scroll down to HESI section. :)
I hope so!! Can you give me an idea of what your weekly schedule looks like? I've been told its impossible to work full-time when attending nursing school.
Hi There,
I recently was accepted into the SHC campus. I had a lower GPA then you. I used the TEAS to get in (high 90's) and had a previous bachelor's degree. If you go back through some posts on here, you will see a maltitude of GPAs, scores and backgronds (several of which were lower then your 3.8) and were accepted into SHC. Don't stress about getting in. Just study for the HESI and do your best. That is all that you can do! Good luck and I'm sure you'll get in! Spring is less competative :)
So phoenix:D peeps?? How did it go? Did they give you good information about the program?? :
It went really well. There was a lot of information, overwhelming and fun all at the same time. They talked about time management, tips on how to get through the program in one piece, being cautious with how you use social network so as to not compromise your professionalism as well as patient confidentiality. There was a student nurse who came and offered tips. It was good to hear from an upperclassman and hear how she gets through school juggling nursing school as well as her other life obligations. They talked some about books, schedules and had a rep from Evolve there to go over main points regarding the book bundles. (hard copy vs ebook) We had opportunity to try on uniforms in order to know what size we should order. Anyway, that is some of what I recall off the top of my head for now. It definitely made it all seem very real so it was exciting, but kind of made me a little anxious too.

Oh one more thing, Did they say if the schedules on our GCU accounts are accurate??

They are not accurate. At least not for Banner Boswell. My portal schedule shows me in class only Tues/Wed, but the paper they gave us with our schedule is much different. So don't rely on the portal schedule for now. :)
