Gcu fall 2014 hopefuls

Hello Everyone,

I know it is extremely early in the year but, the May deadline will be here before we know it. I wanted to see if there is anyone out there applying for GCU specifically in Tucson but, also in phoenix. I want to hear your experiences with the application process and the new Hesi A2 exam. I am planing on taking my Hesi A2 at the end of March.

On the paper that has our schedule on it.. It has the website information and what you need to order for your name badge. I figured it out. I placed a order and then they sent me a conformation email and I called to make sure it was accurate and then I paid for it. It was only $10. ( the cheapest thing yet LOL)

Yes! Prob not going to sleep night before first day. Hey has everyone finished their "my certified profile" immunization package? I still need tb screen, and physical. Hope Im not the only one still working on it.

I too won't sleep either.. I'm barely sleeping now!!!!

I've got everything done on Certified Profile except my "Health Care Provider's Report".. They have rejected it 3 times... I submitted it again today a different way.. And my admin lady said she will over ride it if they reject it again.. Other than that I've had no issues with it.

I cannot tell if I am more excited or nervous... I know I will jinx myself out of sleep the night before first day by trying too hard to fall asleep. I just uploaded my schedule for Block 1 into my calendar. I have my uniform and books all ready to go. Just need to get some shoes. As far as certified profile, I just need to get the flu shot when that comes out in the fall.

What are everyone's schedules like if you don't mind me asking..? Here's mine:

Monday-open lab (no scheduled classes)

Tuesday-8-10AM nursing 307 lecture; 10-noon nursing 307 lab. and then Nursing 305 lecture from 1-4pm.

Wednesday-8-11AM nursing 301; 1-5PM nursing 303

Thursday-1-4PM 305 lab/skills lab.

Friday-8-10AM 307 lecture.

This is my schedule:

Monday: 9am-12pm (Heath Assessment), 1pm-5pm (Nursing Foundations)

Tuesday: 9am-12pm (Health Assessment)

Wednesday: 8am-12pm (Therapeutic Comm and Informatics), 1pm-3pm (Pharmacology)

Thursday: 1pm-3pm (Pharmacology)

We also have a 3 hour lab either Tue, Thur, or Fri..(They split us all into 3 groups for lab) But they haven't told us which day our group gets... My fingers are crossed for mine to be Tue or Thur!!! Lol
