Hi everyone! I applied to Glendale's RN program and waiting for invitation email to take the TEAS. Did anyone apply to any other schools besides Glendale? I applied to Mt.SAC's RN program as well but I know I'm not going to be selected since it's a point-based system and my points are pretty low

There is some schools that allow that but usually they ask for the first attempt so it would not be worth paying again when they will just look at the first attempt. It does depend where I apply too

Yes, it was about the TEAS. Here's what my email said:
Dear Nursing Program Applicant,
Upon reviewing your file, it was determined that you have met the Chancellor’s Formula Cut Score and are eligible to take the TEAS Version VI. Please note that this is not an indication that you have been accepted into the program, rather an invitation to take the TEAS so that you may be considered for selection.
The ATI Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) is a required step to establish eligibility to be included for random selection into the nursing program. The cut score on the first attempt must be 62% or higher on TEAS, Version VI.
If you HAVE already taken the TEAS 6:
Please send your first score officially through the ATI website. In order to send your first score to our department, log on to www.atitesting.com and select Glendale CC - ADN CA so that your scores will be electronically sent to our department. If we do not receive your results by Friday, May 22, 2020, you will not be eligible for the Summer/Fall 2020 selection process and your file will confidentially destroyed. Exceptions will not be made. Please email [email protected] if you would like to confirm receipt of your TEAS results.
If you HAVE NOT taken the TEAS 6:
At this time, we do not have a date scheduled for the TEAS 6. We anticipate to have the TEAS 6 scheduled by the end of the month. We will update you as soon as we have a more information regarding the exact date. If you prefer to take the TEAS at a later time, please reply to this email to let us know that you would like to defer your TEAS exam to be eligible for Winter/Spring 2021 instead.
As we follow the current social distancing and “Safer at Home” mandates, the TEAS Version 6 will be administered remotely using Proctorio, a learning integrity platform.
If you choose to take the TEAS with Proctorio, you will need the following:
· Microphone: any microphone, either internal or external
· Webcam: 320x240 VGA resolution (minimum) internal or external
· Desktop or laptop computer (no iPads, tablets or phones are to be used) with the ability to install Proctorio Google Chrome extension
· High-speed internet
A full list of ATI technical requirements can be found at atitesting.com/technical-requirements
Unfortunately, we do not have the resources to provide these items for you. If you do not have the above requirements, or if you would prefer to take the TEAS at a later time, please reply to this email to let us know that you would like to defer your TEAS exam to be eligible for Winter/Spring 2021 instead. If you are considering the option to defer your file to Winter/Spring 2021, please notify us via email by Friday, May 22, 2020.
If you are SCHEDULED to take the TEAS Version 6 elsewhere:
Send your score electronically via www.atitesting.com to “Glendale CC - ADN CA” by Friday, May 22, 2020. If we do not receive your results by this date, you will not be eligible for the Summer/Fall 2020 selection process and your file will confidentially destroyed. Exceptions will not be made.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to work through these unprecedented changes. Please reply to this email with any questions or concerns you may have. Take care and stay safe!
Best,

I thought you can retake it after a year? I heard from other ADN programs that you can retake it to improve your score after a year but I'm not sure if that's true
