I apologize for any confusion my secondary group post may have caused. I created that post days later after I got accepted because I initially had a hard time finding this one. I typically search posts by the school’s acronym, semester and year. I was excited and wanted to hear from others since this current one was silent. I named mine differently in hopes more people could find and engage there, too.

I don’t know. Sorry They haven’t even replied to my emails yet & the packet is due mid June LOL. I’m sure they’re still in the process! I know some people have declined their spots already

Sorry, but seems like you got the wrong information because I’m already enrolled and accepted.

Not a misunderstanding. We all received acceptances via our LAVC email and we already met the professors and director via Zoom. They did mention this was the fastest they’ve accepted people and they’re not done yet.

Hi, There’s already been 2 zoom meetings for students who have been accepted. Maybe they’re not done accepting people because some barely took the TEAS. The person above is absolutely incorrect. We don’t have an orientation date yet because the full cohort hasn’t been completed. I hope you get accepted!! Good luck!

Hi! I’m not sure if they have the full cohort. They did have a 2nd Zoom meeting on Monday with new people.

There was a little more than half, yes. They mentioned the rest were taking their TEAS.

They haven’t answered my emails lately either. On the Zoom meeting, they did mention they would contact more people on/by May 27th. They weren’t sure when the next Zoom meeting will be because they need the other 20 students to be admitted to the cohort.

Yes, they will accept you as long as you meet the minimum TEAS score. What was your score?

They are accepting about 15-20 students until May 27th. They already have half of the cohort enrolled. Semester starts August 30th & they don’t have dates for orientations yet.

Same here! They kept my application from the previous cycle so they already have my TEAS. Can’t wait for June 15th! I was recently accepted to LAVC’s nursing program. Does anyone know if GCC or LAVC is better?
