I know and I feel ppl don’t get how competitive it is! My nerves are thru the roof guys I couldn’t fall asleep well last night but I’m trying to forget about it and just think I haven’t told anyone else..I do too, hopefully they will consider us, good luck girls 1 week and 2 days before we hit March phew this is such a nerve racking experience ?

I just got an email from school that application is completed. I think they are reviewing my application.

Omg as soon as I got in the post I saw the word email and I literally panicked ? I’m glad you already received an email! Yes I think so too I mean sounds about right then, so more than likely they still got many more to go aughh I hope we at least get an email saying how things are going or something.

I doubt we will get any until we receive notification about interviews..are they sent all the same day?

I’m not sure if they are all sent the same day. In previous threads that I’ve read I’ve seen other people get emails for interviews later. They may do it in groups so maybe 50 at one time and then the next 50. I think they interview about 110-120 applicants.

My friend got interviewed last time and she said they interview for a week and there are multiple slots per day as well as per hour like 3-4 slots at the same time..so that’s why I was thinking they send emails regarding interviews the same day and if you don’t respond within the time frame they ask you to they offer the interview to someone else? Also she didn’t get in apparently her interview wasn’t as she expected since they compared her to others and it all came down to the fact she scored lower on a certain category of the reading comprehension on her Hesi. Tbh I feel they can tell who is being truthful as well as who has the character? I have this feeling they want ppl who are determined and have a strong character to endure the hard work and process that nursing school is, it’s no secret nursing school is really hard, demanding, and stressful.

Yes I’ve read that if you don’t respond within the time frame they give your interview to another candidate. Oh no, that’s horrible. I don’t interview well so I’m going to have to start practicing. I get really nervous and with my nerves comes the giggles. I laugh a lot when I’m nervous it’s embarrassing. The way I come across and my work ethic are complete opposites. I don’t know if it’s because I’m this tiny person that people perceive me to be weak, but I’m far from it. lol

Lol don’t worry I know what you mean and it can be taken the wrong way and I tend to repeat my answers, so I’m nervous too I don’t even want to look at anything regarding the interview cuz I’m afraid of not getting one and getting my hopes up :/ I’m mostly nervous of my patho class since I retook it also I don’t know if I’m suppose to have a letter of good standing from my college it’s cuz it’s so confusing since phase 2 i consider it not to be nursing school since it’s until phase 3 that your in but i think utep does consider it nursing school :( i got so confused I actually have the letter but just got it.

Yeah that’s pretty confusing. Have you contacted Texas Tech to see if they require it? I’m sure they will still accept it, or if you get an interview just take it with you. I’m sure they get applicants from UTEP and are aware of the situation so I’m sure they make some sort of exception. I’m positive Patho will only count against you if you failed. You didn’t fail patho you made a C and retook it for a higher grade. I think it would only count against you if you failed the class.
