Thank you so much, was this your first time applying? What were your stats if you don’t mind. I somehow feel everyone has super high stats and idk if mine r good enough also do they look at certain portions of the hesi more? how long do interviews last? How many ppl interview you? Sorry so many questions lol I don’t wanna check my email at 5 now lol I’m too scared

It was my first time applying. My GPA was 3.68 and my science GPA was 3.75. My hesi was a 90.8. I do think that really helped but there are also people in my cohort who had an 80 on their hesi. What I love about tech is theres no one thing they look at. They literally look at you as a whole person instead of just a grade. Only one person interviewed me. It didn't last that long. Only 20 minutes. They interviewed 90 people out of 250 applicants and said they were accepting 80. I could be wrong but believe the 10 who weren't automatically accepted were put on a waitlist. I was so stressed when I went for my interview but I tried to just be myself. I think they just want to make sure that who you are on paper is also who you are in person.

Thank you so much and yes sounds about right my friend was put on a waiting list and told me she was one of 10 who weren’t accepted unfortunately she didn’t get off the waiting list as other friends of her did but she is reapplying this fall.. thank you so much! Well then I think we have a fair chance at an interview like you said the rest just depends on them looking at all aspects of our application. Thank you so much!! It is! It can be overwhelming at first but if you use a calendar and weekly to do lists to plan out your study week it makes it a lot more manageable. Good luck to you all!

Thank you that truly gives me some relief knowing that we are not just looked at as numbers (GPA and Hesi scores), but as an overall person and what we can bring to the program. I couldn’t resist I checked my email in hopes of having some kind of update, but nothing as of yet. So it looks like we won’t find out until next Friday.

I know I guess til next week it did seem like too fast considering the advisor told me they were still reviewing just this week ? the wait is def so hard...

Lol I was wondering the same like if they notify any other day of the week but from what I’ve seen in other post it’s always Friday...tbh if we don’t get anything this Friday then we are definitely way behind maybe more ppl applied? Also some one last semester had told me they were gonna be making changes idk if they are changing the committee or something like that

Yes as Sferna stated it’s always sent out Fridays at 5pm, but a girl can dream. lol I’m certain that we will get emails this Friday. They start conducting interviews in the middle of March.
