I just got a call asking me if I am still interested in their program. I applied last October and did not get into January program. They will be sending letters in a couple of weeks. Anybody else got a call?
I'm in the afternoon program. The first few weeks classes are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 2-5p then clinicals start on Mondays and Tues.-Weds class is still 2-5p.
I'm not sure what time days/times are for the morning program.
All you need is your CNA, fingerprint card, CPR and make sure your up to date on all immunizations. Thats pretty much it.
Does anyone know what the procedure is for applying to block 3 once you complete the PN program? I know you have to score at least an 800 on the HESI. Like when do you apply? Or what if you have one pre-req left that you need for block 3? How long would someone normally wait to start block 3? The following semester?
So I just looked on the my.maricopa website and they put our schedule up for Fall!Who else is in the afternoon cohort? 2-6p
I will have to go online and look. I haven't been on the website in ages. I also am in the afternoon cohort. My excitement is starting to turn to nervousness as it gets closer...LOL!
And the NET test you need as well... as for Block 3 I am wondering that myself, but without asking the advisor I have no clue. I know you need all of your pre-reqs and co-reqs done for blocks 1 & 2 before you can go into block 3. I am hoping to start Block 3 next fall 2010 instead of in the spring 2010.
I called today and Betty said applications for October will be ready in September.
I WILL NOT MISS IT THIS TIME!! I totally missed it last October, and god knows where my mind was last February!! Could kick myself..
Just need to study for the NET test and expecting my immunization proof in the mail so I think I am good to go!

I am in the same boat as you. Hopefully I will have it all together this time around. Good luck to us getting in :wink2:
If I don't get into the MSC for September I want to apply to Gateway's Fast Track program. Does anyone know what the pre-reqs are? I can't get anyone on the phone.
You have to have the NET done, your CNA license, your DPS fingerprint card, and vaccinations. You don't need to have the pre/co-req's completed for the fast track, but they will need to be completed if you want to apply to block 3 of the RN program.
