I just got a call asking me if I am still interested in their program. I applied last October and did not get into January program. They will be sending letters in a couple of weeks. Anybody else got a call?
They don't require pre-reqs like A&P and such.... but they expect that what they are teaching is only building on knowledge that you already have, which if you have to wait for placement... like 1 semester, I suggest filling that waiting time with A&P if you haven't taken it already!
Good advice! I have been going through the NCLEX-PN review and I can't imagine not having a foundation in A&P and even Chem, which comes into play with electrolyte imbalances and such. Not having started the nursing program yet, I was surprised at what I did know just from having taken A&P and chemistry. Who knew chemistry would be useful...:lol2:?!
