GA Highlands students please help!

I'm about to submit my application to the nursing program at GA Highlands and I am so confused by the "nursing program worksheet". I don't want to fill it out wrong and have it go in the trash! If you haven't taken some of the courses do you just put something like N/A or "not taken" in the line for grade and 0 in the line for points? So basically not having taken a course is the same as failing it, correct? Also, does anyone know what admission score is considered competitive? Thank you so much!!!:bowingpur

I know I'm probably not a very competitive applicant because there's a few pre-reqs I haven't taken but I figured it can't hurt to apply, I just may get lucky!:D

ditinnan, how long does it take to complete the ADN program if you have all your pre-req's? Is it 1 year? I figured that it was one year, but I could be wrong.

its 2 years at ga highlands to get your associates

there is no summer classes so it takes 2

That's surprising to hear. I figured that Highlands was one year of core classes and one year of nursing school. I am having a hard time figuring everything out.:grn:

four semesters of nursing school after core is finished

Specializes in Rehab, Geriatrics & School Nurse.

so what ur guys are saying is that if and only u get accepted in the Kennestone Program u will attend the marietta campus...

the wellstar scholars program was the reason for the southern poly program, but they only accepted 25 when it was started. now 40 students go to so-pol.

I attend the program at the GHC program in Marietta this year. They have 28 funded scholars in the loan program and there is an additional 11 students that also attend the campus w/o participation in the loan program. There is a total of 39 students this year to start. We will all be doing are clinicals in Wellstar facilities. Its a great opportunity. :typing ....Also, the classes aren't held at Southern Poly anymore they are at the Windy Hill Dev. Cntr.

your right, they decided last year it would be better to have the classes at the windy hill facility instead of so pol. they had opened it up for a total of 40 students, so i don't know what happened to the one. i'll be back next semester, as long as i get reaccepted. see ya then.

Anyone out there applying for Georgia Highlands spring 2010 program?

i just missed the deadline yesterday. i hope to be accepted to ghc and the program in the fall. i am currently a west central/georgia tech student.

I applied to Georgia Highlands Nursing Program for Spring 2010 and was wanting to know if anyone has heard as to when they send out acceptance letters? I know the deadline has just passed and I assume we might find out next month. Also I was wanting to get some insight on what to expect from Highlands nursing program? Thanks
