Who is planning to enroll in the nursing program for Spring 2016?

So who is joining me? It's going to be a long process and I simply can not wait to get into the nursing program.

I hope to apply into Lee and get. I haven't taken my HESI yet out of nerves, but have to swallow that pill soon in order to apply.

Wow! All A's?!? Good for you. That's great! I'll let you get thru Finals before I ask more questions. Thank you for the shoe info. Good luck with your last 2 exams!

So we have crossed the hump of the checklist and the three orientation post tests. I just wanted to come on and check on how everyone else is coming along as far as preparation and supply shopping? How are you guys doing?

I ordered one set of scrubs and a polo from Sew Shore in Naples, and just picked up another polo from the bookstore. I want to order at least 1 more set of scrubs too. Other than that, I mostly just need to buy shoes and find some good khakis that fit comfortably (which is proving elusive as always).

Then I'll need some new socks, underwear that won't show through the white scrubs, a watch, a stethoscope, my textbooks... It's never ending! lol I get paid again on the 15th and am on vacation after the 16th, so hopefully I should have the time and $$ to get everything next week.

Hi everyone! I am Melinda and I am starting on the Lee campus...I just wanted to let everyone I started a Facebook group for us. It's FSW Lee Nursing Program c/o 2017...it's a closed group and hopefully we can get all of our class on there. I figured it could be a great way to meet each other, communicate, pass along information, and document our journey to becoming RNs

Where are the orientation post test at? Ugghh with finals and all these dang immunizations I am so far behind!

Hey Jae congrats. I am going to Charlotte Campus so it was in the Nursing Colloquium course. Have you started ordering at least one uniform because they said it takes at least one month to get back.

I need to know, from current students:

As you advance through the semesters, do you advise that I purchase all new text books and hold onto them? Or should I save money on text books by renting them for a short period of time or buying used texts?

Also, which nursing homes did you attend initially? Are the local to Fort Myers? Or are they out of town? Are you guys having to drive to many out of town facilities for clinicals?

Trying to plan ahead and hoping for some guidance
