What did everyone put down for immunity on the health report (physical)? I had blood titters done and it turns out some of my immunizations didn't result in immunity. I'm afraid that putting Non-Immune will hold me from doing clinical.

That form has to be filled out and signed by a qualified hc provider. If you are not immune to something you need to get the required vaccine(s) for it ASAP. Contact your doctor's office and let them know you need to have that done. I had to get a couple myself before I could start turning in that paperwork. No biggie, but don't wait to get it taken care of because I think it CAN hold you up from starting clinicals.

Hey guys,

I was reading through the acceptance email to make sure I'm not missing anything, do we have orientation this Monday at Lee campus @ 8 am? I am kind of confused by the wording with the dates and stuff & of course the school is closed until this Monday so I can't call. I found it really easy to miss this, it is at the top, but with so much attached to that email it was so easy to overlook that and get distracted with other attachments! .

I know it says that our class begins the 7th so idk if that means go to my Thursday 7th class then that next Monday 11th go to that 8-2:30??? just want to double check with you guys, I'd hate to miss the first day of school.

For Collier campus we received the following email from Prof. Arcidiacono. On the first day of the semester, Jan 7th, I would assume you go to your Thursday class at the room number listed in your class schedule, regardless of which campus you're attending.

"The first day of the Fundamentals of Nursing class is Thursday, January 7th at 9:00 am in N-103. The N building is the where the nursing department is located.

If your Fundamentals of Nursing Practicum is on Thursday afternoons, you DO NOT have class that afternoon and you will start on 1/14. If you have Practicum on Monday afternoons you will start on 1/11.

Your clinical day is on a Wednesday. The first two weeks of clinical will be on campus, not in the hospital. These days (1/13 and 1/20) will be from 8:00- 4:00, which is longer than the usual schedule of 6:30 to 1:00. When I see you in class on January 7th I will explain where we will meet. "

Hey! I am wearing the full lab outfit! I have the same classes tomorrow. I was wondering about the shoes too. I haven't gotten my badge yet, I'm sure we will tomorrow or Monday in the orientation
