FSCJ Summer 2011 Hopefuls

Published

Is there anyone planning to apply for FSCJ's Summer 2011 RN program? I am taking A&PI and II next semester with Human Growth and Dev. and Sociology, then I'll apply. I am taking Microbiology during the spring prior to going into the program. I am taking the Nat in September after Chem 1032. What about you?

cutoff for fall 2010 was 202.something

but so many people declined their seats, people were being accepted up until like 2 days before class started.

Well the cutoff for last summer was 197 something, hopefully it will be lower! I'm applying with 196 points and hoping for some miracle!

I'm taking Micro as well this Spring. Where are you taking it & whose your instructor. I will be attending the North Campus.

how many points do you have KT?

Just checking in again with all the other Summer hopefuls. I just finished College Algebra and Im awaiting my grade. If I choose not to take the NAT again (which I am) Ill be sitting at 202.36. Did everyone see the spring cutoff was 194? With all the people that decline their seat, I wouldn't be suprised some if people with 190 or less got in.The cutoff for apps is 2-01-2010 so we really dont have much time after the Holidays to get everything together to apply. I still have the NAT to retake. EEK:eek:

So, hows everyone else looking? How'd everyone's semester go?

Im finishing up microbiology with an A and I retook the NAT but didnt do as well as Id hoped, so Im sitting at 196 for summer. That might or might not be enough. I cant retake the NAT again until march, I just have to get it up in the 200 range! What grade do you think you got in algebra? Im taking college algebra in the spring and shooting for a B, I know its a tough class but it can pull my points up. Im not good at math though, so im very nervous.

Im expecting either an A or a B (knowing my luck it'll be a B) but still holding out hope for an A. You mentioned taking Algebra in the Spring but trying to get in for summer, did u know you have to take it before you apply? This was my second time taking it. Im pretty crappy at math. I took it online and it wasn't too bad this time. You should consider taking it online and If you do, please let me recommend the professor I had. I know we cant say the names on here but Ill find away to tell u. Yeah I I didnt do very well on the NAT either (95.6). I have to take it soon and I have no sweet clue where to even begin studying. I have good grades and I dont want this stupid NAT to be the thing that breaks me.

I really dont think I can do any better but hell, Im gonna try.

Are you getting excited? I am!

I'm going to be retaking the NAT as well in January. I got a little over 97 the first time and I got straight A's in all four classes this semester but I feel like I still won't have enough points to get in without Micro points that I'll be taking in the Spring. So I'm hoping to up my NAT score to a few points over 100 the next time, so we'll see. Its going to be tough.

YOU CAN DO IT!!!:p

Yeah Im only taking college algebra in the spring to give me more points just in case i dont get in for summer, so come fall Ill have finished another class and retaken the NAT. Can you private message me your prof's name and tell me more about how your class was set up? Thanks, and yes I am very excited but super nervous. I just dont want to get my hopes up

(Oh and Ive already taken statistics and got a C so I have my math already, just not college algebra)
