I am so happy that it is Friday! This week felt like forever! What is everyone up to this weekend?
Today is my babies' birthday! They are 9! 9 years ago right now I was sitting in the hospital on bedrest (preeclampsia), unaware that in a few hours my water would break and they would be born at 32 weeks. But today they are busy, healthy third graders! Woo!
All my kids will be with their dad this weekend and SM and I are going to see a show in Chicago. We'll meet up a group of my friends/sisters before for dinner/drinks.
I'm gonna hit the gym after work today and again in the morning to accommodate the beer and food I will enjoy tomorrow evening. Hoping to do a Zumba class tonight and another in the morning as well as lifting weights. Then on Sunday, SM and I will take his dog on a 10 mile hike.
The sushi was great. As were the drinks we went out for after. Going out again on Friday. He invited me to an upcoming wedding as well. I'd say it went well :)
HE invited you to a WEDDING????? I'd rather "gut" cattle at a meat packing plant than go to a wedding. He's definitely chasing you!!
We started school Tuesday, have today and Monday off for the Labor Day weekend. School was open though, for us to go in if we wanted, and since I'm a new and have 1 million things to do (and otherwise I would have spent the day home with my three middle school kids) I went up for a few hours. We're having a quiet weekend, one get together at a friend's house, and that is it. I think it's perfect.

We have PT Conferences today, so non-teaching staff have a work day. Ya for getting caught up on filing! Everyone is off on Monday, so looking forward to the long weekend.
I don't think I've ever looked forward to long weekend as much as I'm this one! Today has been a hot mess. I don't feel well, sore throat, headache, cough, general ickiness, baby was up every 1.5 hours last night- I wish my mommy would have kept me home form school!- My son has a major crying, kicking, screaming meltdown, the likes of which he hasn't has in over a year, in the lobby of his school which is also my place of work, so that's fun...
Luckily, the school kiddos are doing well today. We had a pep rally this morning and have an assembly at the end of the day, so no one wants to go home "sick" today!

I'm sorry your sick and that you were up with the tiny one! Hopefully you can get a little rest once all the kiddos go to sleep!
