Stars that's good that you've taken charge of his upcoming appointment, I hope they can get him in sooner
NJ22 glad the dogs have settled down
Thankfully yesterday's work meeting was shorter than expected, though I did get another new case. Hoping for no new cases today
After work was busy, did laundry and vacuuming and exercised
Woke up early with a headache in one eye, like a migraine, but managed to vanquish it with just acetaminophen, which wouldn't happen with a migraine. Weird
After work today should be fairly quiet, have to get a birthday card for my sister and some treats for the cat. Have noticed I've been more tired at night, not sure why
Foggy morning today, will get into the low 70s, although will be warmer over the weekend

Well ... I did say, I THINK we are back to some semblance of normalcy.
And, it might be we like to mess with your head.
No, seriously, we are still having a few issues, @toomuchbaloney.

Gosh, @Rose_Queen, don't jinx the whole thing.
He has a TV in his room but doesn't want to spend the money to have the cable company hook it up. I'm ashamed to say that the monthly payment for the TV cable (includes WiFi, and those little boxes they hook up to get their channels) is almost the same amount as a car payment. BAH. If we trade down the programming, we won't be able to get the baseball games and even worse, we won't get TMC, which would be AWFUL. I wouldn't mind another company or 'free' TV, etc., but, um, ya pick yer arguments, y'know? There's always the "No TV" choice, but.....
And unless I put a fridge with freezer down in the den, he'd still want to get up and use the stairs. He wants to not do what he should do, and do what he shouldn't do. Contrary! Aggravating! Stoopit!
Hi. We're sitting at a tap house waiting for our early dinner: I'm having vegetarian samosas, dh is having fish and chips. And sipping on a nice scotch ale. I've been picking up clutter and taking the dogs outside hourly for training for today. The temp got down to 38 this morning and then up to 55 in the afternoon. Tomorrow we're going to a weed workshop (garden weeds, not pot) and then to a e-bike demo.
nursej22, enjoy your meal! Brrrr, 38 is cold, to me!
No Stars, I was thinking that perhaps a small fridge in the den, then Mr. Stars could keep his Pepsi supply in it... without going up and down stairs to kitchen.
Weird site glitches, for sure!
We got up a little early (for us! ? ) and took Toby to his Vet appt. He actually seemed brighter last night and this morning. He pooped in the crate, on the way to the Vet. It was a regular poop, not diarrhea. Vet drew some labs, was unable to get any urine sample. But we are encouraged that Toby is brighter, and hope that continues.
We sent my computer off to get its battery changed. The company received it and notified dh that they had ordered necessary parts (the battery). THEN, today, dh received an email that they were unable to effect the necessary repairs, and that we would receive a check for cost of computer replacement, within 10 days. !! Dh called the company, and this was all verified.
So, we need to decide if it is really worth our while to purchase another (high-end) laptop for me, or if we can continue as we are: dh using his phone and and older ASUS Pad, and us sharing the laptop. It is working out now... Just things to think about.
Have a good evening!
FOOL Moon: Nannie went into BR and pulled off her used absorbent products. She then pulled her pants back on, put a clean pull-up OVER the pants, and put a still folded + in its cover, #6 long pee-pad....in her pants pocket! By golly, she sure as heck did! (Whot a Jean-e-ous!)
Hubby continues the same, little half-step shuffles, and unable to walk w/o ***'t, no appetite, actually not drinking as much as usual, though when he talks, his speech is slurred.
I'm surprised I didn't have to end up sending hubby to the ER. There's always tomorrow.?
Lousy ballgame tonight, we lost 10-6, and NOBODY on our usually sterling team hit any home-runs. Can't be perfect all the time!
Took Momo out this afternoon, in the car, in her papoose bag (cross-body dog carrier) and she was content to be with me. Not sure how I'll do my eye exam next week, she'll probably have to stay home for some things!
I am so busy that I don't want to go see the psychologist/psychiatrist next week. Things have switched from getting Nannie placed elsewhere to getting hubby taken care of; he is in worse shape than Nannie is. Plus I have a jillion other things to do here. Don't know how my mother worked as a night nurse and ran her antique store six days a week, and raised us four kids. I would've short-circuited! What really bothers me is that I am not as organized as I used to be. Of course I didn't have to take care of two other people then. And when I worked, the shifts ended and I could go home. This business of being THE responsible adult really sucks.
The ****'d out word was an abbreviation for ASSISTANCE. Good grief!
Hello from Minneapolis. ASHRM annual conference starts tomorrow. Much less drama getting here than there was getting to Vermont. Was on the same flight as a couple of colleagues. We all had dinner at a pub then came back to the hotel and watched the Oklahoma football game at the bar. I went back to my room at halftime and settled in to watch the rest of the game. OU won 50-20 or something liked that but it was actually close in the 2nd quarter.
