NJ22 I don't think I've done a CPR certification for nearly 10 years
Tweety glad you didn't have to leave too late
Not a bad day at work, fairly quiet, helped some coworkers out
Emailed some family members I haven't seen in some time. I've been trying to stay in touch with those I normally only see at holidays or reunions
Have dinner with J tonight. His toe seems to be healing well
Tomorrow plan to try bird watching in the morning, first time in nearly 2 months
Will be in the 40s today, but up in the 60s tomorrow

Good morning!
Joe, that's good you keep up with relatives like that. Glad to hear J is healing well.
Stars, hope they get started on the firewood.
I have relatives I hardly ever see. We're not a real close knit family. I actually have a cousin in Alabama that's in his 40's that I've never met. I have some cousins in Maine that I haven't seen since they were kids. I don't ever see my own brother in North Carolina as my parents always come down here.
Hope everyone has a great day.

Morning @Joe NightingMale and @Tweety
I wouldn't even know where to begin to find distant relatives (cousins, etc.). I keep close tabs on children and grands. Don't get to do in-person visits but a couple of times a year (COVID and don't live close). But, we talk several times a week and sometimes every day (the children).
I don't drive a lot anymore. Local only and that's when I have to (Church, groceries, appointments, pick up something for suppers, script refills, etc.). So, highly doubtful I'll be driving several hours to see kids/grands anymore. In fact, I know I won't.
Nothing much to do today which is o.k. Probably have breakfast for supper. Not sure yet.
Hope you all have a good day.

Oooooooooooooh! COOL!
It's like Old Home Week! Like on the Blue Side?!
I saw a few like No Stars lurking around here on the Yellow Side and wondered how the Siberian Strait was crossed!
Hello, Joe! Hey Tweety, you sweetie! And my dearie sirI! Hello, you old Bailey Building & Loan!
My medical nurse wife Belinda and I have gone on two relatively long e-bike trips this week with temps up into the 70's, but today it's a long luxurious day in the BAR!

All I had to do was to follow John Lennon's directions and make a left at Greenland!

Hmmm, I thought that it was just a jump to the left and then a step to the right ...

HAHAHAHAAH!
EXCELLENT, @nursej22!
I thought about that line when instructing another member about how to find the Breakroom icon in upper right of any page ... just jump from the left (of the page) and step to the (upper) right.
I know, I'm crazy. LOL!

Y'all crack me up.
Yeah, I had to find my own CPR renewal last time and it was a drag. Drove to the city to do it. Did get reimbursed my $60, though.
First week is in the books. Consisted mostly of obtaining access to about a gazillion databases/websites/whatever.
Went to the wildlife rehab last night but not much to do. Folded some laundry, did some data entry. The day before someone had called the center to say they had a severely injured coyote pup but couldn't transport it themselves. A volunteer went to get it, and discovered it wasn't a coyote but a husky mix puppy with a badly injured leg. The vet amputated the leg (it was mostly gone already) and tested the pup for parvo because he seemed sick. Test was negative but they're still isolating the pup. This is not their mission -- their mission is returning wildlife to the wild -- but I guess at that point it was a matter of having compassion for the animal. He is THE CUTEST THING. I guess he'll need more surgery and they'll try to find him a home after the illness resolves.
