Forsyth Tech PN Program 2014

Hello all!

I just finished up my application to the Practical Nurse program at Forsyth Tech, I was SO nervous when I was doing my MAR review I could literally hear my heart beating! Lol, I had about 95 points which I'm guessing is okay, how many points have you all had? How did you feel about the teas test? I felt like the science portion was almost impossible to properly prepare for. Am I the only one super nervous? What did make me feel better was the admission coordinator said they are accepting 6 more seats for the fall term which is great!

I started to look at stethoscopes, I want a littmann cardiology III but I will wait until orientation to see what is allowed.

White scrub shoes. I don't skimp on shoes so I wanted to get good ones and spread out the expense. I got timberland renovas even though I thought I wanted danskos. Tries them on in the store & then got them cheaper on amazon.

The Timberlands are sooooo comfy. I have always been a dansko girl...I switched between the two...dansko for a 12 hour clinic killed my feet.

I went to Heidi's on Stratford. The ladies there are very helpful. The scrubwagon on Hanes mall has a good selection too. That's where our uniforms come from I think. I decided to price compare on amazon before paying and $20 less was good for me :)

I wore Klogs in the OR and knew I would be pickier about shoes my next go round! It's hard to think when your feet hurt!

Has any alt from lpn progm gotten a call. I had 90.3 points and the wait is killing me. I think this is worse than waiting by mailbox. Its all I can think about.

I am alternate number 13 and I emailed her today and she replied saying, "I had 3 openings, which have been filled with alternates. Orientation is April 11th. That will be the next time that I may have openings. Anyone who does not show automatically loses their seat."

Wow three I had 90.3 points and range started at 91. Wait till the eleventh, ughhh. How many points did u have. This is third time trying. I'm about to give up.
