Hello all!

I just finished up my application to the Practical Nurse program at Forsyth Tech, I was SO nervous when I was doing my MAR review I could literally hear my heart beating! Lol, I had about 95 points which I'm guessing is okay, how many points have you all had? How did you feel about the teas test? I felt like the science portion was almost impossible to properly prepare for. Am I the only one super nervous? What did make me feel better was the admission coordinator said they are accepting 6 more seats for the fall term which is great!

I had 89 points and Im alternate number 13... what number are you?

I don't know I'm going to email her and find out. Prolly #4 with my luck. I figured being less than a point away I would be at top of list.

Just to let the ones know that have not got a letter. I called yesterday. They said the program isfull and they were working on the Denial letters.

I feel like being an alternate is worse is worse than waiting on an acceptance or denial letter... I just want a yes we want you or no we don't lol... the waiting and not knowing is killing me...

I just found out I'm alternate #4. I'll get called next if vacancy. My nuse is still waiting on her letter for lpn to RN too. Hopefully we don't have to wait to long.yayyyy

I think the adn program goes through alternates faster bc there are other popular options to choose from. I'm sure they'll get deeper into the list after orientation & candidates not meeting deadlines (cna/CPR etc)

Hard to find timberlands in a 9 wide. Been looking for shoes. Do they have to be slip resistant? The Timberlands and danskos have alot of good reviews but very expensive. I guess if u want good comfy shoes u have to pay a price

I just email her asking what is the normal amount of alternates that get in, she said "It varies from year to year. I normally pull 20 each year. Last year I used 17." so not all hope is lost...
