Forsyth Tech PN Program 2014

Hello all!

I just finished up my application to the Practical Nurse program at Forsyth Tech, I was SO nervous when I was doing my MAR review I could literally hear my heart beating! Lol, I had about 95 points which I'm guessing is okay, how many points have you all had? How did you feel about the teas test? I felt like the science portion was almost impossible to properly prepare for. Am I the only one super nervous? What did make me feel better was the admission coordinator said they are accepting 6 more seats for the fall term which is great!

Sitting by the phone waiting patiently for her to call.

Guess everyone is getting stuff done for school. Guess I have to wait till Monday and sit by the phone, lol.

Nothing new. Just got my physical and am in the process of getting both TB tests.

I'm finishing anatomy and will start looking over dosage calc so I can be ahead and less stressed in the beginning.

I know the wait is nerve wracking! Orientation is soon though and then there's the physical/cna deadline in May that people will probably fail to meet.

U I heard orientation is this coming Friday. What time y'all have to be there? Can u get physical at a health dept? Hopefully she will call soon. The wait is killing me. Can't sleep and very anxious.

I made a thread for anyone who got waitlisted. If u want to chat or share any feelings about being waitlisted. I know I'm going crazy waiting. Wish I would have just been accepted. I have alot of mixed feelings about it. :cat:

I can't tell if anyone has missed orientation, but we have a bunch of deadlines to meet so I'm sure someone will fail to meet the deadline.

Look online. I found a used pair for $40. Received them today and they look almost NEW!

Hard to find timberlands in a 9 wide. Been looking for shoes. Do they have to be slip resistant? The Timberlands and danskos have alot of good reviews but very expensive. I guess if u want good comfy shoes u have to pay a price
