Forsyth Tech PN Program 2014

Hello all!

I just finished up my application to the Practical Nurse program at Forsyth Tech, I was SO nervous when I was doing my MAR review I could literally hear my heart beating! Lol, I had about 95 points which I'm guessing is okay, how many points have you all had? How did you feel about the teas test? I felt like the science portion was almost impossible to properly prepare for. Am I the only one super nervous? What did make me feel better was the admission coordinator said they are accepting 6 more seats for the fall term which is great!

Wonder if its bc of where we live. . I live near germanton. Y'all in Winston area?

I just called Forsyth and they lady in admissions told me that Acceptance letters and waitlisted letters went out at the same time and denial letters will be mailed out next Friday :(

did they tell you the point ranges for all the classes?

I had 95 and someone else had 94 points, did the mail run for y'all already?

I had a really low score. 70 :/ but I don't have all my classes buy I figured Id at least try this year and u never know how many people apply. But its not looking good on my part. But that's alright!

I go to Gwen of all Trades for my CPR classes. They are $45 and she does them every Wednesday evening. She is great. Check out her website.

I know you really want to get in but maybe you should take your other classes in the fall and spring and try again next year. When I was taking my anatomy classes, their were so many people failing bc it was to much to take anatomy and nursing classes together. I wish you the best. Good luck!!

Hey guys! I got my acceptance letter today, I live in Hamptonville, NC. It was dated March 20th! So, those of you waiting, expect in by Monday at the latest!!!

Lakeisha- I think u were talking about me. Yeh I'm taking my bio163 now. The others I've took just didn't getA's lol so maybe I'll retake those. :) yeh I wouldn't do bio while in nursing school. My sister just graduated from ftcc LPN and said some girls did bio while in school and they struggled so much .
