Forsyth Tech PN Program 2014

Published

Hello all!

I just finished up my application to the Practical Nurse program at Forsyth Tech, I was SO nervous when I was doing my MAR review I could literally hear my heart beating! Lol, I had about 95 points which I'm guessing is okay, how many points have you all had? How did you feel about the teas test? I felt like the science portion was almost impossible to properly prepare for. Am I the only one super nervous? What did make me feel better was the admission coordinator said they are accepting 6 more seats for the fall term which is great!

No mail for me today hopefully tomorrow!!

It's a packet as soon as you open the mailbox you'll see it:yes:

A big white envelope. Funny thing is my husband got a big blue envelope yesterday and a Manila one today. I thought for sure my envelope was his too but nope. I was expecting tomorrow or Saturday. Today was the only day I wasn't really expecting it.

My dad just called and said I got a big packet from forsyth tech!!!

I just found this forum! I got it forsyth today and I only had 94 points! Congrats all who got in!

Congrats everyone! I'm thinking that the ADN is taking a bit longer to get here! For those of us still waiting, it's nerve wracking!:(

Welcome and congrats agreitzel!!:nurse:

Me to MPReavis...a few other friends of mine that applied for lpn got their letters also, but the few I know that applied for rn has not

Hello all, I got in the Stokes evening and weekend (just found out today)!!! I'm so excited and congrats to everyone that has been accepted! Is anyone planning on working full-time or part-time while going through the program? I work full-time and live in Charlotte and I plan on driving back and forth. I'm already stressed out but I'm so excited.

Congrats sb2588! I am a single mom so I don't have a choice but to work full time. I work at a nursing home and hospital in Greensboro so between the two I think I will be ok. How far is the stokes county campus from Charlotte?

Thanks!!! It's 1h 20m from the campus. I also need to work, that's why I applied to the evening program. I need to find a CPR certification class I just checked my card from when I did my CNA and of course it's expired!

Good lord 1hr 20?! It's worth it though, I just hope you drive a civic that's some serious gas money lol
