Hi,
I am extremely happy and still can't believe it that I just passed!
Let me tell you what I did to pass. It was a long road but it was worth it at the end.
I believe not having these review classes I would never pass:
1. enrolled for an online Hurst review it was helpfull to understand the basics and pull everything together
2.kaplan course-knowing the strategy helped me to pick the right answer but without knowing much about the content would not help if not Hurst review
3.practice questions from kaplan, used even exam cram, at least 150Q a day
4.study every day, make a schedule
Believe in yourself because if I did it everybody can do it.
Why am I saying that? Not knowing english when I came to USA was a challenge for me so I had to study 3 times harder than anybody else but I made it and I am proud to say I am RN!
Good luckkeep in touch, i guess i will need some help to know how to do it.
I have to study hard but how, what is the best way, ....it s hard to know???
Suzanne's olan is it helping ? i want to do it too...
Thanks for your asnwer

I guess I will not find out after mid Dec.. lol..
The choice of books and type of questions was overwhelming for me when i started getting ready for the NCLEX. Suzannes plan gave me a "structure" in the confussion and I decided to stick to it. I do feel a lot better after part one. It did take me a while, since I graduated in 1997 and havent been to school since. Even though I was always working, that did not really help for the exam, if not made it harder, since every day life is not really how the NCLEX is.
I will keep everyone informed !!
Hello girlsCongrats for all foreign nurses who succeed to be Rn here. I am so proud of you and to read your posts means that we can do it too.
I am a French foreign nurse and i took my exam in October6th, i failed so i feel sad but i know i can do it, so i am ready to study more.
How did you study? how many time? it s hard for me because i am working beside every day and i have also my English exam to do, i don't know if two exams in the same time is good, but in the other side i don t want to lose time anymore.
Thanks for your help.

If not already in the US with a valid work visa I would just concentrate on one exam at a time as retrogression means will take years to get a visa

I am living in the US since one year and half but i cannot spend to much time even if the retrogression is here, i cannot stay without doing my job, i am loosing my skills.
It s hard to study for some exams that we know it won't give you the possibility to work before few years...
