I just turned in three of my four applications :uhoh3:, and I'm already sweating bullets! Just thought I would start a support thread for those of us impatiently awaiting results for the Spring of 2008.

Good luck to everyone!!!!

i just got my official letter today. i got a letter 11/1, however we had to pass the teas exam first, i took it 11/17 and today they wrote to tell me congrats i am in. i actually got to register for my classes today and get my uniform and badge next week. i still can't believe i am actually getting the chance to do this!!

never give up to those of you who are struggling to find a way in, just keep plugging away.

:balloons:congrats!!!!!!!:balloons:

i'm soooooo happy for you!!!!!! i get to go to orientation and register tomorrow....so excited!!!!

Congrats to those who just got their letters...I know how your feeling!!! Enjoy the natural high!!!

okay, so... i'm waiting to hear whether or not i've gotten into a program that begins in january. i go to the mail today and there was an envelope from the school. no, it wasn't an acceptance letter...yet :-)! hey, gotta think positive right?

as i was saying... no, it wasn't a letter. it was a holiday card with a HANDWRITTEN note from the Office of Admission. hmmm? i appreciate their thoughtfulness, but i could've waited until december for that.

how about an acceptance letter? you know, some kind of indication as to whether i'm in or not. i was clicking through their website and found a page that says admitted students need to notify the school by december 19th if they are accepting a position in the spring class. according to the admission office, no decisions have been made yet and no acceptance letters have gone out. well, december 19th is coming up, maybe that should trump handwritten holiday cards, right?

maybe i'll know something next week... fingers crossed ;)!

oh man that's funny, well not funny hahaha, but odd funny.

It might be a sign you are in if you are on their "personal mailing list" lol. about a week before I got my acceptance I got a nursing catalog in the mail, I remember thinking hmmm that's odd I am not a nursing student yet. I must have gotten put on a mailing list of some sort LOL. A couple friends who didn't get accepted didn't get the catalog.

what school was it? i see you're in California.

No more sweating bullets...I'm IN! Third time was the charm I guess :p Feels so good to get an acceptance packet instead of an alternate letter! Prayers to all those still waiting!

I too am waiting for a telephone call, email, letter, something... from UTMB for the summer 2008 Bacc-2 program. I've gotten three emails telling me my "your admissions application is complete, the SON has not made an admissions decision". This is not looking good for me since, interviewing will be done "sometime in December". At least I'm still eligible for the regular BSN fall 08. **sigh** I guess I'll drown my sorrows in a brownie...or 3. If anyone has heard anything from UTMB feel free to message me.

Congratulations to people that got accepted to their program. To everyone still waiting, stay hopeful and optimistic.
