I think it would be helpful to people who are taking NCLex to know how you felt after you tested. Mostly interested in when you passed for those mutil-time testers. Good luck to everyone!
It definitely is @scaredsilly. But when does the Pearson Vue trick become 100% reliable? Is it exactly 24 hours after your exam has stopped and you walk out the building? I've been getting good pop ups since 4 yesterday afternoon
It's never 100%. However, after 24 hours has passed since you left the testing center, the result you get at that time is the result you will stick with. While it can and does sometimes change DURING that 24 hours (which is why the wait is STRONGLY suggested), I've never seen it change AFTER 24 hours.
That said, people are very fond of saying "this is what I know" or "this is what I've seen" after a paltry few examples to go from. I've been following this PVT thing for years, and at this point feel quite comfortable with saying "I've never seen a popup 'flip' after 24 hours".
Now, get OFF the computer and go do something FUN!!!!!!
Wish I could but I've had one too many magaritas already and it's only 2 in the afternoon :) I guess I'll just watch movies and find something to eat for dinner
Might I suggest popping Julie & Julia or No Reservations in the DVD player, having another marguarita, and considering that dinner?
i felt the test was easier than what i expected. I passed with 76 questions, and found the questions to be very similar to kaplan. Before the test, i was really scared and nervous for only using Kaplan as my main study source, however, after i took the test i felt really lucky for having taken kaplan.
I honestly felt lost and confused. Through the whole test I felt like I was guessing the whole time. When my computer took me to the survey after question 150, I was absolutely nervous. I felt like I had just bombed the NCLEX and just went home to sleep. I woke up the next morning, got to work, and found out that I passed! Felt so RELIEVED.
I would have to say that the most nerve wrecking part was right before the exam. Studying for the exam was like anxiety building up, then right before the exam was when the anxiety went to panic levels. My bp was so high I had to do breathing exercises to calm down. Post exam was basically just light headed feeling while walking back home. Then a whole bunch of moaning and groaning about how I'm going to fail until I get results.

spears, I put a poll up last year asking which was more stressful (and soul destroying) studying for the test or waiting for results. The overwhelming majority said waiting for results! You are NORMAL!
Go do something fun or relaxing! Try to get your mind off of it. I know its awful, but look at it this way, we ALL have been there and most of us passed the first time!
