My question to all of you that applied for this year, what is your GPA?I am trying to find out how competitive the program is this year. The waiting game on the acceptance letter is killing me and I have heard we wont find out til end of March.
My GPA for the pre-req courses is a 3.0 . I know that is not the best, but I have a friend that goes there and her GPA was lower than mine, and she was admitted to the nursing program this past fall.

Just talked to someone regarding the 2012-2013 year, the lady on the phone told me that they choose 100 freshman (from NIU) and 100 transfer students. Only a paper copy of acceptance/non acceptence will be mailed to us in April.
Once we receive the acceptance letter, it may state on the letter whether we will be starting in fall or spring. If not, you have to call an advisor and set up an appt with them to find out when you will start if you do not have all of the pre-req's completed.
If you are cureently enrolled at NIU, you would have received your acceptance/denial letter in the mail already. For us transfers, they are reviewing the candidates now.
