I'm looking into this totally on-line program. The price is right and it is a 'real' college in Florida. Anyone attend this school or have reliable information?

Patrick, I took a few classes with UoP--they did transfer, as electives. Go ahead and get copies of the course descriptions to send your advisor (it helps). Anyway, I personally can't say enough good things about FHCHS. My Chem class is going great!

OK, I am posting again about my chemistry class, 100% online with FHCHS. I made a "B" on my first test. I attempted this course over the summer and dropped it because I was failing. The program has been revamped, and the presentation and assistance by the facilitators, tutors, etc has been amazing. I have never taken a Chemistry course before so I am really stoked about this grade!!! FHCHS has a great online program. My World Religions elective starts 11/8. :)

Hey - maybe we will be in some classes together. I had chemistry a very, very long time ago, so we will see if they will accept those transfer credits. I also have had to semesters of English ..... not sure how it is going to go. Good luck Tweety! I can't wait to get my official transcript review.

So they did not transfer your class for class credits, rather they classified them as elective credits? I am not sure I like that .... I have already taken pathophys .... health assessment, research, etc ..... would hate to have to take these courses all over again. I guess I will wait and se what they say withg my transcript review. Thanks for the reply.

Hey Tweety - just got the call yesterday from FHCHS that my application is complete and they are reviewing my UoP and other transfer credits. I am anxious for them to make a decision on my UoP transfer credits. If they make me take courses over again, I am not sure that I will go there, but the advisor said he did not think that would happen. The program sounds really great. Perhaps we will be in some of the same classes, especially if you are scheduled to start in the Spring, like me! :)

It is my understanding that you need to be an online student with them in order to take their courses. They are usually really quick with their phone and email responses. I am sure they will be in touch with you soon.

I will be in Pharmacology, Pathophysiology, and DNRS 485 (Leadership and Management in Nursing) starting the January semester. I hope to hear from you, Tweety and Patrick!

Cindy, that schedule looks so intimidating. Good luck to you! I'm still waiting on the final word that I'm in and waiting on the registration packet. I've got all those coreqs to to take so hopefully, I'll be used to it before I get a schedule like yours. It's nice to know someone whose already doing it to inspire me. :)
