FIU Generic BSN Fall 2013

Hello!

I just wanted to see if there is anyone applying to FIU's BSN program for Fall 2013?

I haven't seen any threads for the BSN Fall 2013, so I decided to start one so we can all share our stories and see if maybe there is someone already in the college of nursing that could give us some advice or insight on the program itself.

I still have two schools that I'm waiting for there decisions, but I really wanted to get into FIU. :cry: Oh well, if I don't get into the other schools I'll probably apply again next year to FIU it just sucks waiting a year.

By the way did anyone get an email saying they got wait listed?

And good luck to the future nurses who got in though!!

My overall GPA was a 3.84, science pre-req was a 3.95.

Hi everyone.. I too applied to FIU and i received an email that i am on the official waiting list.. Idk how much longer i have to wait till i know forsure if i have been accepted or not... This process is so frustrating! Congrats to everyone who received the email on getting accepted and for those who didn't or are wait-listed like me, goodluck!

What was your GPA?

My cumulative was a 3.77 and my science was a 3.91. I passed the HESI on the first try 90 in reading and 96 in math. Also had 150 hours of community service. I think there was just a lot of good applicants this year, I'm not even wait listed. But good luck to everyone that got in!

Where else did you apply to? I got accepted to nova, that's where I will be going this fall.

Wait...with a 3.9 GPA you got denied? Maybe you should inquire about a reason! I don't see how that could happen...
