FIU Generic BSN Fall 2013

Hello!

I just wanted to see if there is anyone applying to FIU's BSN program for Fall 2013?

I haven't seen any threads for the BSN Fall 2013, so I decided to start one so we can all share our stories and see if maybe there is someone already in the college of nursing that could give us some advice or insight on the program itself.

Wait...with a 3.9 GPA you got denied? Maybe you should inquire about a reason! I don't see how that could happen...

I'm going to speak to **** tomorrow about this denial. It really sucks. I got accepted to nova but it's so expensive and it's 27 months long.

Did you turn in your final transcript??

I didt have to. I'm an FIU student

How is that possible?!?! Did you get a C- in one of the required sciences and repeat it?? You turned in your HESI, video essay with updated URL, and final transcripts, right??? I can't think of anything else. Unbelievable :no:

Yes I turned in everything. The only thing I can think of are my W's on chem 2 which is not even a requirement for the program.

Quick question...are FIU nursing students allowed to apply for the Baptist scholarship?

No. The scholarship is only for nova and Barry.

Good morning guys,

I've been keeping up with the thread and I was wondering if everyone received their decisions? The reason why I'm asking, is bc I submitted my FIU BSN package and I have yet to receive a decision email.

Yeah, I got an email last Thursday.

So did I (on Thursday), but I know of at least one person who did not receive any email...even though they applied to the program.
