FIU Generic BSN Fall 2013

Well I don't have an fiu email. So its not my fault. I previously tried to set one up back in march and when I called FIU they told me I needed to be accepted as an FIU student to have an email . I asked a friend that attends FIU and she told me FIU was supposed to send me an email with the username and what not for the email. I checked my email , spam inbox everything and never saw one. I tried talking to the FIU Nursing Adviser ****** , when I called I was notified **** was not speaking to any students until the admission process was over. Fastword to the future I called the College of Nursing on Tuesday the 7th asking where did I have to send the final transcript they told me FIU Admissions needed a copy and the College of Nursing needed a copy as well. I already sent an electronic copy to FIU. They never said anything about about a due date.

Yeah, I understand I would just drop them off anyways on Monday and explain that to them. They should understand or just email **** I know that he is responding to emails. There was another email sent by him explaining that he will respond to all emails before Monday because lots of people have had questions about the transcripts and the application process. Thank you. :) I was still plannning to drop off the transcripts on Monday. I just didnt know the deadline was monday.

Hi guys! I'm an FIU student And i also applied to the program this fall. I received an email from one of the advisors saying they will send out their decisions either late this week or Monday. So excited!!!!!

Wow, how exciting!! I was told it would be at the end of the month, but I'm glad we can find out sooner!

Do you know if we will receive a letter through the mail or will it be an email sent to the FIU mail?

Does anybody know if its too late for housing? I tried lurking around on FIUs website but i couldnt find it.... And i have no idea where im gonna live if i get accepted lol

Overall I would say it's a good program. Just as you'll hear from any nursing student regardless of school, there is a bit of unorganization within the program, you'll hear about some things at the last minute, and there are some professors who you'll love and others that you won't like so much...the workload will be very heavy, but it's manageable (after all my group of about 100 made it through). Don't stress.
