FIU Generic BSN Fall 2013

Published

Hello!

I just wanted to see if there is anyone applying to FIU's BSN program for Fall 2013?

I haven't seen any threads for the BSN Fall 2013, so I decided to start one so we can all share our stories and see if maybe there is someone already in the college of nursing that could give us some advice or insight on the program itself.

I hope to hear from you all soon and good luck to everyone!

@Nicu Thanks for sharing!!! Another question ... Are you working in the NICU straight out of graduating? If so, what do you think about it?

I'm not really sure how to use this site so please bare with me lol

and yes! I have emailed **** because I'm leaving the country next week and he told me to be checking my email either by the end of this week and/or Monday. I'm so excited! anyone applying somewhere else? I also applied to NOVA and got accepted, I am now waiting to hear from their scholarship at baptist which I applied to

GOOD LUCK future RN's! Hope to see you all at FIU this fall! :nurse:

And we will be receiving an email first then a letter a few weeks later. I have many friends in the program and they love it. Oh and let me clarify one of the myths I've heard. They accept people with 3.3 GPAs as well. As long as you stand out from the other applicants I think you have a really high chance to get accepted.

Specializes in PICU.

Did any of you guys who got accepted to FIU accept admission at Nova?

I was accepted too! So happy. By some miracle I was able to set up the fiu email! I found the username. Wow I cant believe it!!

Congrats to all who got accepted. I still haven't heard from them. Hopefully I'll receive something by tomorrow. Good luck!

It's hard for new grads to get their first nursing job, especially when it comes to specialties, but I'm trying. I absolutely love the NICU, so I'm doing all that I can to get a job there. At the same time, however, I'm applying to other areas.

By the way, congrats to everyone who got in. Good luck in the program, and remember to breathe. ;)
