Hey guys! Is anyone here applying for the Generic BSN program for Fall 2016? I couldn't find any topics for it.
I'm in the process of applying right now and I just took the TEAS V today! I'm content with my score, but I may retake it. I hope that with my TEAS V score, my GPA, and my extracurricular activities combined that have a good chance of getting accepted into the program!
My stats are:
Science GPA: 4.0
GPA: 3.96
TEAS V Cumulative score: 79.3%
Reading portion: 83.3% unfortunately I ran out time on this one and had to blindly guess on two questions!
Math portion: 66.7% such a bad score for me! I had to guess on like 5 questions because I wasn't keeping track of time!
Science: 81.3% I'm so relieved with this score. I was so scared that I wouldn't pass the 62% mark. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be!
English and Grammar: 83.3 % It was an okay section, a couple of tricky questions. I had like 3 questions on how a word is spelled correctly and those get confusing when two of them look like the right answer!
I would love to hear from anyone else who is also applying for the Fall 2016!
That may be true but I'm transferring so I need stuff to find if I'm going here lol and my current school (UCF) needs some paper work so I transfer out lol ugh I just need to know soon man
Hi I'm also applying to FIU the BSN program that starts in August I have a question though why aren't you going to the nursing program at the University of Central Florida because they are my section second option if I don't get into FIU
Lol! Way ahead of you. I already have my classes in the shopping cart. Waiting for orientation to enroll. But I'm 99% sure that they pick our schedules for us. We're either in sec 1 or sec 2. And each section has a different schedule. But we won't find out until after orientation.
Did you use the major map to figure out which classes to register for?
just check the second page and you see all the classes you need and in what order to take them
unfortunately, I am pretty sure Leilalenci is correct in saying that the school chooses our schedule for us as that is what the posters from the 2015 forum said about the program :/
Well I was going to go there but I had an issue with my family and they needed my help so I thought of coming near home! But if I don't get in then gotta stay in Orlando most likely! Waiting on nova too though
OMG I just got my acceptance email. Conditionally of course since I just sent out my final transcripts Lol. I'm also a transfer student from Florida Memorial University. Yes they do choose our classes we have a set schedule for the five semesters. It's on the nursing brochure on their website. Congratulations to everyone that got in!!!! I'm so proud of us!!!! The wait is finally over. I can't wait to see you guys at orientation!!!
