Hey guys! Is anyone here applying for the Generic BSN program for Fall 2016? I couldn't find any topics for it.
I'm in the process of applying right now and I just took the TEAS V today! I'm content with my score, but I may retake it. I hope that with my TEAS V score, my GPA, and my extracurricular activities combined that have a good chance of getting accepted into the program!
My stats are:
Science GPA: 4.0
GPA: 3.96
TEAS V Cumulative score: 79.3%
Reading portion: 83.3% unfortunately I ran out time on this one and had to blindly guess on two questions!
Math portion: 66.7% such a bad score for me! I had to guess on like 5 questions because I wasn't keeping track of time!
Science: 81.3% I'm so relieved with this score. I was so scared that I wouldn't pass the 62% mark. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be!
English and Grammar: 83.3 % It was an okay section, a couple of tricky questions. I had like 3 questions on how a word is spelled correctly and those get confusing when two of them look like the right answer!
I would love to hear from anyone else who is also applying for the Fall 2016!
I Dont remember my exact science score it was an 86 or 87 point something Lol
I didn't have no direct nursing experience but I did have a lot of volunteer hours that reflected leadership skills so they accepted those. And I also got my CNA license but it was expired way before the application date but i still put it in so I'm not too sure if they counted that Lol
How did I know they were going to this this over the weekend to us they left waiting? I keep refreshing my e-mail when I know darn sure they do not work over the weekend.
I got accepted on Friday and I didn't realize we have a forum here. They confirmed my spot literally a couple hours once I accepted. Good luck to everyone, I hope to see you all soon!
