Hey guys! Is anyone here applying for the Generic BSN program for Fall 2016? I couldn't find any topics for it.
I'm in the process of applying right now and I just took the TEAS V today! I'm content with my score, but I may retake it. I hope that with my TEAS V score, my GPA, and my extracurricular activities combined that have a good chance of getting accepted into the program!
My stats are:
Science GPA: 4.0
GPA: 3.96
TEAS V Cumulative score: 79.3%
Reading portion: 83.3% unfortunately I ran out time on this one and had to blindly guess on two questions!
Math portion: 66.7% such a bad score for me! I had to guess on like 5 questions because I wasn't keeping track of time!
Science: 81.3% I'm so relieved with this score. I was so scared that I wouldn't pass the 62% mark. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be!
English and Grammar: 83.3 % It was an okay section, a couple of tricky questions. I had like 3 questions on how a word is spelled correctly and those get confusing when two of them look like the right answer!
I would love to hear from anyone else who is also applying for the Fall 2016!
@faerytinkerbelle I think whoever you're assigned to can possibly help you with that. I think that's what the whole mentor/mentee program is for. To basically show new nursing students the ins and outs of the program and the school. So maybe your mentor can assist you. I think . But you can ask them í ½í¸Š
Congratulations you guys!!! I could really use some advice. I am between the Barry program and the FIU BSN program. If possible can someone please give me some insight on the FIU BSN program? I would be so grateful. How would you describe the program so far? I know you must be so busy with classes and everything, but I am just so confused on which program would be best for me. Thank you so much for reading this.

I mean, my friend is in the nursing program and she told me to wait for the first week of school to find out about the codes to purchase from the professors. Usually on the syllabus they upload, professors provide what textbook and code to purchase and you have the option of purchasing the code separate from the textbook if you already purchased the textbook. I got the 8th edition of the fundamentals cause it was cheaper and I know some friends that purchased the new textbook so we can all collaborate on information.
