Hey guys! Is anyone here applying for the Generic BSN program for Fall 2016? I couldn't find any topics for it.
I'm in the process of applying right now and I just took the TEAS V today! I'm content with my score, but I may retake it. I hope that with my TEAS V score, my GPA, and my extracurricular activities combined that have a good chance of getting accepted into the program!
My stats are:
Science GPA: 4.0
GPA: 3.96
TEAS V Cumulative score: 79.3%
Reading portion: 83.3% unfortunately I ran out time on this one and had to blindly guess on two questions!
Math portion: 66.7% such a bad score for me! I had to guess on like 5 questions because I wasn't keeping track of time!
Science: 81.3% I'm so relieved with this score. I was so scared that I wouldn't pass the 62% mark. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be!
English and Grammar: 83.3 % It was an okay section, a couple of tricky questions. I had like 3 questions on how a word is spelled correctly and those get confusing when two of them look like the right answer!
I would love to hear from anyone else who is also applying for the Fall 2016!
I'm a bit confused about which courses will require the access codes with the books and which will not. Does anyone know for which books we have to purchase the complete package/access code?
Patho and foundations we need the access code for sure . The math book you can rent on Amazon for 20 bucks it brings a CD but the professor said the CD isn't necessary if it doesn't bring it since supplemental items aren't guaranteed on rentals. And the health assessment is recommended so I'm waiting until the first day of class to see.

Hey everyone. Just to let you all know the book store matches with Amazon! So the patho book instead of being 176 will come out to 106. Just let them know and they will price match it. If you've already bought it you can just return it and then buy it again on the spot. Will save you some money! And we only wear scrubs on days we have lab or in the star center and in clinicals.
Guess I'll have to do that for the two I already bought.
And which math book you guys are talking about, what class is it required for? I don't think I saw it.
This books are expensive! The fundamentals book I cannot find it anywhere. Thank you very much guys, I called the bookstore they price match amazon. I bought 2 books and 3 scrub tops, my total was already $700 ...
The fact that I don't know if we will use the code or not is keeping from ordering them online.
Most books, I usually rent out. I rented the health assessment and pathophysiology. I bought the fundamentals for $30 on chegg and the dimensional analysis for $40 on Amazon
Did you get them with the codes? I cannot find the fundamentals book nowhere. I checked on chegg but is not the same edition. The isbn that I have is 9780323506410.
I've always rented all of my books, never bought any books. Now I don't know if the professor will use the codes. The codes are more expensive when bought seperately.
I went to the bookstore today, I return the Patho. They price match amazon on the Patho, I got it for 106. They also match price dimensional analysis from the genereal barnes and noble website for $89.
