FIU Fall 2016 Generic BSN

Hey guys! Is anyone here applying for the Generic BSN program for Fall 2016? I couldn't find any topics for it.

I'm in the process of applying right now and I just took the TEAS V today! I'm content with my score, but I may retake it. I hope that with my TEAS V score, my GPA, and my extracurricular activities combined that have a good chance of getting accepted into the program!

My stats are:

Science GPA: 4.0

GPA: 3.96

TEAS V Cumulative score: 79.3%

Reading portion: 83.3% unfortunately I ran out time on this one and had to blindly guess on two questions!

Math portion: 66.7% such a bad score for me! I had to guess on like 5 questions because I wasn't keeping track of time!

Science: 81.3% I'm so relieved with this score. I was so scared that I wouldn't pass the 62% mark. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be!

English and Grammar: 83.3 % It was an okay section, a couple of tricky questions. I had like 3 questions on how a word is spelled correctly and those get confusing when two of them look like the right answer!

I would love to hear from anyone else who is also applying for the Fall 2016!

I feel like there are 3 tiers and each Friday they send out acceptance and denial letters lol

Hmm, probably! I guess they are doing it differently compared to last year. I don't think last year had any tiers and most people found out on the same day.

This is so frustrating. Why can't they just send everything all at once... I'm driving myself nuts!!

Look once it hits 5 pm, you are not getting the email cause they don't work after those hours! So I go crazy until 5 and then after I'm fine lol

Lmaoooo I think they have the emails set up automatically lol because people get them at different times but Idk lol Ima think that way now too so I can be at ease lmao

Usually it takes a while because they have to take into account who's confirming/declining the acceptance. And then they have to review over the next students that will be good candidates. As of now, you all should have your notifications on so you don't have to play the waiting game and refresh your email lol

My notifications are on, but I still have to refresh because I have so many notifications on my phone, I want to ensure I see it first. It's not easy to relax when you're still being teased waiting to be accepted lol. I dont know how many times i've bothered my advisor too. I'm sure she's sick of my compulsive questions lol.

I just received an email that said confirmed once I replied to the acceptance.
