FIU AO BSN (fall 2020)

Hi everyone!
This site has been very helpful for me while I worked on my application, therefore, I wanted to start a thread on the applicants for FIU’s fall 2020 AO BSN program. It may be a little early right now, but I would love to speak to anyone who has applied or planning to. ?

Yes but only the ones with prerequisites I think

I wasn't sure either, so I sent them to both FIU and NursingCAS.

Yes, I reached out to admissions to ask this same question because I am still taking a pre-req. I was told to "re-send the official transcript to FIU and to NursingCAS". This is what I'll be doing when the class is finished.

Thank you all for your help with my NursingCas question! My last question is did anyone send their TEAS scores to NursingCas too? I saw a previous email stating to send to FIU but I am a bit paranoid.

I uploaded the IPP to NCAS and sent the scores to fiu

@Jubileeeeex I sent my scores to FIU directly and called them and I was told they received it and they put it in my file.

Hi there,

Does anyone have an idea of what's the average TEAS score for the entering class? I'm aware the minimum is 70% overall and 60% science..Just want to have an idea as to what's considered "competitive"

Those who took the TEAS through Miami Dade College Proctor how was it? did you have to log into the TEAS website first? show ID through the webcam? I really am not sure what to expect and MDC are hard to get ahold of.

And how long did it take to reflect the results on the ATI TEAS website?

Im cutting it close but the exam is the last thing I have to do then I just submit the application.

It wasn't difficult. It was pretty easy to access. You have to email them the receipt of your exam to confirm your exam date at MDC. You should have an ATI account created because MDC will provide you the information to access the exam. You will show your ID through the webcam and it will take a pic of it to confirm who you are. The scores will appear immediately after you take the exam.
