FIU AO BSN (fall 2020)

Hi everyone!
This site has been very helpful for me while I worked on my application, therefore, I wanted to start a thread on the applicants for FIU’s fall 2020 AO BSN program. It may be a little early right now, but I would love to speak to anyone who has applied or planning to. ?

Yes I have! I was also wondering where students live? Do they usually find roommates and live near campus or do most commute? I live in Fort Lauderdale and don’t think I would want to make that drive every day

I’m not too sure but since all the students in this program are adults with other degrees I’d assume most live in homes, off campus, and make some sort of commute.

I also applied to the FIU AO BSN program. I finished my application last month, does anyone have an idea of when we'll be hearing back?

Based on previous threads I believe by late August or early September!

Hey guys I sent in my application in early July. Is anyone taking pending prerequisites at MDC Summer B? If so, how are you providing proof that you are taking them?

On nursingcas, there’s a control setting that sets them “in progress” so once you complete those classes you can update those classes specifically and update the whole app. Also, when you send in your transcripts prior to finishing those classes, it should indicate on there that they’re in progress too. I hope this helps ?

Last time I called they said the average prereq GPA was 3.6-3.7. Im not sure about the TEAS

Are we supposed to send our transcripts to nursingcas? I believe I misunderstood this step.
