Hi everyone!
This site has been very helpful for me while I worked on my application, therefore, I wanted to start a thread on the applicants for FIU’s fall 2020 AO BSN program. It may be a little early right now, but I would love to speak to anyone who has applied or planning to. ?

Hello, a number of posts have been moved from view to comply with the Terms of Service.

Per the TOS, there are two ways members may create a private area.

One is to open a facebook page.

The other is to create a Club. Click on Breakroom link at the top of the page, left-hand yellow bar area.

Also, may I caution you to not post your phone number or email, or any identifying informaiton. In the past, members who have done so have revealed they began receiving many unwanted, unsolicited phone calls and emails (this is a VERY public board!). We want you to be safe!

Is anyone else waiting to submit last minute end-of-Summer transcripts ?

I just emailed one of the advisors, -------------------------, and she replied that we’ll be finding out mid September and that the program will be starting online on October 19. Hope this helps!

I think we might hear back next week or a little bit after that week. Did you apply anywhere else? @Jennifer33

No. I was planning on applying to NOVA, but it’s so expensive. I already have student loans, so I don’t want to take much more. I don’t have the best stats either, so I really don’t have much hope. I tried applying to FIU to see what happens. But I kind of expect to retake the TEAS and one class and apply next year again. I just want to know what the answer is, whatever it may be, so I can stop thinking about it LOL

I called the department about a week and a half ago and they said we should know by the 15th September, let’s see.

Biting my nails here. They don't give anything away and I'm on a dateline to apply for a scholarship at work. ?

Supposedly we will be hearing back throughout the week. If anyone gets a response feel free to share

Yeah, I have plans around that and some decisions to make. It’s very frustrating ?

I’m almost glued to the email LOL and for some reason this week the emails have been very active ? I get multiple emails every so often and when I open the app is nothing important ?
