I wanted to start this thread again. I've seen so many posts about first days and have lived vicariously through those posts. Now, with that first day steadily approaching, I'd like to start my own thread. I start school on the 21st of August, and I thought that I'd go ahead and start a thread so that it will be good and ready for that first day post. As of now, I have pretty much everything done except I have to have my second PPD read on Monday. I welcome comments from everyone. After all, we are all in this together!
Had my first lecture test yesterday which was over about 20 chapters. It was 72 questions and I made an 86%. I was elated. Obviously as a first time nursing student I wanted an A but I'm just glad to have passed. 74.9% is passing. Two of the people in my clinical group (that I know of) failed which kinda sucks because we're all like a family now it seems.

Great job! I have my first test Monday over about the same amount of chapters.
I have my first real quiz this coming Thursday. It is on some of the medical terms that we have learned so far, which is about 300. This past Thursday, we had to do EENT assessments, which were fun. I have already had a few ATI assignments, and most of my questions seemed to be NCLEX-style. How is everyone else doing so far?
How is everyone doing? Our semester is already halfway over, and I can hardly believe it. We've done about half of our assessments, and they've all been a blast. We have had two major tests, 2 medical terms quizzes, and a pop quiz. Overall, I feel pretty good about everything. How is everyone else holding up?
Oh, I remember that day! I am starting my second semester tomorrow, so I'm not that far ahead of you. It will be a day that you never forget. Just remember to figure out where your classes are early on, so you won't have to rush. Make sure you get a good seat and always read the "suggested" material. Let us know how it goes.:)

Had our first math test today and it was very easy. We were all freaking out and reviewing conversion factors (e.g. 1pt = 15mL, etc) but the test was very simple and straightforward. I believe I made an A. Our first lecture test is Thursday and we are all pretty nervous about that. I think I have studied all I can and hope that it's enough!
