This is a really good quiz that has a bunch of possible specialty results. My results were on point, psychiatric nurse practitioner first, developmental disabilities nurse second, nurse manager 3rd, and domestic violence nurse 4th :).

Johnson & Johnson | Johnson & Johnson Discover Nursing

I got Clinical Nurse Specialist( I can dig this actually :D ), Urology nurse(very weird not what I imagined or like at the moment), Rheumatology nurse(not expecting this lol), and Health Policy Nurse(interesting...)

Second round...

I got Certified Midwife... I don't think I will like that, Critical Care nurse... that I like, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner... Interesting, and Domestic Violence nurse..

Specializes in CCU, SICU, CVSICU, Precepting & Teaching.

I got certified nurse midwife -- not at all what I've expected or aspired to. But it also told me I'd have to go get my BSN (which I already have) and then an MSN. (My Master's is in management/quantitative analysis). Alternatives would be Clinical Nurse Leader, Nurse Manager or School Nurse. Interesting -- I think the test is totally out of whack. I've been at the bedside since 1978, in the ICU since 1983 and I love exactly where I am. I was an educator for about four months, but couldn't stand the hours, so went back to the ICU.

I am in Nursing school-BSN, I have about a year left. The results were interesting

1.Military Nurse (which I have been thinking about after school)

2. Neonate ICU- Eh, havnt had my peds rotation yet, so I cant say weather i'd like dealing with kids or not

3. Toxicology Nurse- Another avenue that has my interest (I like chemicals and all that).

4. Substance Abuse Nurse- Which is also something i'd be very interested in because I've had quite a few friends struggle with substance abuse.

very interesting results

Specializes in mental health / psychiatic nursing.

I got:

1 Psych NP

2 Pediatric NP

3 Telephone triage

4. Developmental disability

I want to go for Psych NP. Only one absolute no is telephone triage just because I couldn't stand working phones for a full shift straight every day.

Specializes in Medical-Surgical/Float Pool/Stepdown.
It told me Labor and Delivery Nurse! The area of nursing I purposefully avoided for 35 years....LOL

This is why I don't think it was that accurate! I guess being a Johnson's & Johnson's website, it assumed everyone was "baby friendly". As a nurse I have vowed to avoid munchkins like the plague :roflmao: My first pick was a transplant nurse though and I do love surgical patients, too bad the rest had to do with tots...

Plastic surgery nurse - Yuck!! I hate anything related to the OR.

Perioperative nurse - Did I mention that I hate the OR?

Reproductive nurse - Hmmm...I wouldn't mind that (I'm an L&D nurse).

Legal nurse consultant - Sure, why not?

Maybe this quiz is only 50% great?

I got an Psych NP, Ambulatory Care Nurse, Pulmonary Nurse, and Pediatrics Nurse...interesting

Specializes in Psychiatric Nursing.

I got psych NP. And that is what I am.

I got Critical Care Nurse and that's what I plan on pursuing :)

I got developmental disabilities nurse.

My results were:

1. Transplant Nurse (which sounds like something I would enjoy)

2. Rehabilitation Nurse (which is definitely my speed and planned direction)

3. HIV/AIDS Care Nurse (which is something I've actually considered doing)

4. Plastic Surgery Nurse (which is something I never considered, but honestly can't rule out)

Quiz was pretty right on. 😎

I am mainly interested in being a school nurse and that's what I got :D because of my preference for variety, working alone, and working face to face. Also suggests nephrology, urologic, or HIV/AIDS care nurse.

Pretty decent quiz!
