Finally.......I have my green card.

Hi friends,

I received the magic email on wed April 19 stating that my application had been approved. I got my card in the mail on Monday 24 April. I will try to give some pertinent dates of the process.

Docs: I-140,I-1485,EAD sent on Nov 29 2005 to Texas Service Centre.

Receipt date Dec 2 2005

EAD received Dec 18 2005

I-140 approved Jan 16 2006

Fingerprinting Feb 01 2006

I-1485 approved April 18 2005

Green Card received April 24 2005

I wish to thank everyone on this forum, for their contribution have been so helpful. Good luck to those still in the process. There might be some delays along the line but you will eventually get there! :monkeydance:

Wow, that was really fast!! Congratulations. So you did AOS? Was there no interview at all before the issuance of the GC?

Which state did you applied and were you a US school graduate? It is so fast!

Congratulations! That sure is fast.

Right now we are under my husband's application for GC which was originally processed at CSC but transferred to TSC last March. Now I am wondering if applicants under schedule A nurses and advanced degree have different qeues in terms of the process of AOS. The last time which is munites ago I checked the processing date for AOS at TSC is on 10/10/05. Therefore, yours is really fast.
