Me: Excuse me?! (As I backed out of the room)...The old guy thought he had a great sense of humor. I had on a white scrub skirt, and that scared me half to death. Btw, he was pulling my leg.

I have a nut allergy and I am reacting.

This just happened today. My student with peanut/tree nut allergies; who has no Epi Pen or Benadryl at school because he "knows to stay away" per mom, eats a oatmeal cookie from a store bakery in class. Three bites in and starts to react.
