FGCU Fall 2015

Hello everyone ! I'm new to all nurses. I haven't seen a thread posted yet for FGCU fall 2015 so I thought I'd start one even though we still have a while until applications are due (Feb 1st). My stats are as follows: GPA 3.6, adjusted Teas 85, program percentile 90. I hear they recalculate your GPA for the nursing program so I think that my GPA may be a lot lower than that since I've retaken a few classes. I'm considering retaking the Teas to make myself a more competitive candidate just in case my GPA turns out to be a lot lower. How many of you are thinking of applying ? If so what are your stats ?

I just got an email from FSU today that I have been accepted into their program, so I am very relieved. I am not sure where I will be attending (if accepted), but will make sure to keep all of you updated!

Just got my letter in the mail. I'm IN!! 3.16 cum GPA with a 96% overall on the TEAS. Good luck everyone!

If you don't mine me asking ... Was that 96% program percentile or 96% adjusted score ?

That was my program percentile rank. I believe my adjusted score was 93%.

Congrats everyone who received their acceptance letters!! :) Hopefully I will receive mine soon. If you guys don't mind me asking, what was your TEAS program percentile rank/ overall score and your GPA's? (For the people who already got their acceptance letter)

Still no news and waiting from me in Crystal River, FL (three hours north of Ft. Myers and about an hour north of Tampa). The post office told me mail can take 3-5 days to get to me from Fort Myers, so we shall see.

Can anyone check the mailing date on the actual letters so we know when they were sent?

I'm in port charlotte, about 45 min away from FGCU. The letters were post marked on the April 16th.

I'm not sure what GPA they used for me. On gulfline it says 3.62.... But I f you include all classes I've ever taken including repeats my GPA is around a 3.0

TEAS individual score 85

TEAS Program percentile 90
